Artist Notes
All free people of the world share in their freedom, which springs from their souls like horses as free as the breeze! This work captures the feeling of freedom that has always haunted me—as if I were a free horse galloping with the breeze caressing my flowing mane. That is how freedom appeared to me, so I wanted to depict it this way! Horses have always symbolized freedom to me; they are majestic creatures that reject oppression and voice their indignation at any restriction of their freedom! Art is my way of expressing this indignation—it is my own personal freedom!
