Hidden concerns

Artist Notes
Somewhere in front of the tent, the little girl sits, holding a bottle of water in her hands, She misses the feel of her doll in her hands; the texture of the glass is nothing like the soft, cotton of the doll she lost during the displacement. The little girl feels the weight of her memories inside her head, so she closes her eyes tightly, trying to search for a time when warm colors prevailed, not rubble and death. In this new artwork, I present the reality of childhood to the viewer: innocence loses its luster in the face of death and loss, and children’s dreams turn into pitch-black darkness, weighed down by the heaviness of each passing day. This work depicts a real life scene; I captured this image and conveyed its message through oil paints in my own unique style.
