Home on the edge

Artist Notes

In this work, I depicted my house as it truly is, reimagining the colors, the tiled roof, the backyard, and the land dotted with olive trees—though I reimagined the olive trees to appear more vibrant with lively colors. The painting is filled with warm, harmonious colors. I felt immense joy while painting it, as my home meant so much to me, and the thought of losing it forever pains me, so I wanted to grant it immortality through my brush.
