MATERIAL ASSESSMENT Medium unresolved. The rendering carries a photographic quality, and automated inspection suggested a hand-coloured photograph or colour lithograph. That is not reliable. Given the rest of this artist's output the work is more likely digital, rendered to resemble a hand-coloured print. Recorded as unconfirmed and needs the artist's answer. If the work is in fact a physical hand-coloured photograph, handling and storage requirements would differ substantially from the rest of the collection. Worth resolving early for that reason. SELECTIVE COLOUR The greyscale figure against fully coloured poppies is a deliberate device and should be preserved in any reproduction. Any conversion, filter, or colour correction applied downstream would destroy the effect. The poppy recurs across this artist's work and its meaning should be recorded from her rather than inferred.
