Description
A figure leans forward with the head bowed, the upper body angled down and to the right, the arms drawn in as though gripping. The posture reads as effort or concentration.
The head and shoulders are worked in cool greys and taupe, while the lower body moves into golden yellow, burnt orange, and reddish brown.
Beneath the figure runs an undulating band of overlapping circular loops in gold and warm brown, flecked with small red accents, carried rhythmically across the lower part of the sheet.
The ground is a single unmodulated cream, giving no setting at all. The figure bends over the looping band with nothing else in the frame, so the relation between the two is left open. No signature.

PROVISIONAL. Assessment from visual inspection of a digital image only. No physical examination. PART OF A COHERENT GROUP OF FIVE This is one of five files that form a clearly related set: NouraAlqasia.jpg, NouraAlqasia1.jpg, NouraAlqasia1(1).jpg, NouraAlqasia1(2).jpg, NouraAlqasia1(3).jpg. All five share the same characteristics: Identical pixel dimensions, 3508 x 2480, landscape Uniform pale cream or beige ground with no setting Warm palette of gold, ochre, orange, red, and rust Soft translucent handling with layered washes No signature on any of the five The filenames suggested these might be variants of a single work. They are not. Each is a distinct composition. They have been given separate records. DIMENSIONS, STRONG INFERENCE 3508 x 2480 px is exactly A4 at 300 dpi. A4 is 297 x 210 mm. This is very unlikely to be coincidence across five files. It means either the works are on A4 paper and were scanned at 300 dpi, or they were made on a digital canvas preset to A4 at 300 dpi. Both are plausible and the distinction matters, so dimensions have not been asserted in the record. If physical, each sheet is 297 x 210 mm. Evidence leaning physical: the studio photograph now attached to the artist record shows her holding a brush, with paint bottles and an easel behind her, so she does have a physical practice. The absence of a signature on all five also suits studio sheets or sketchbook work not prepared for exhibition, which would fit physical originals. MATERIAL ASSESSMENT Automated inspection suggested watercolour or gouache. Unconfirmed, as throughout this collection, but the warm translucent layering is at least consistent across all five files. HANDLING If these are watercolour or gouache on A4 paper they are light-sensitive and should be kept from prolonged display and from humidity.
