Description
A large flock of doves, upward of fifteen birds, crosses a turbulent sky. The wings are caught at every angle, some birds climbing, some dropping, some held level, so the flock reads as movement rather than formation.
The plumage runs through warm beige, cream, and soft grey, with several birds carrying deeper rust and burgundy across the wings and backs. The sky behind them moves from deep teal and dark blue-grey at the top, down through paler blue-grey, into white cloud near the centre.
The lower third of the picture is a silhouette of multi-storey buildings in dark blue-grey, their windows rendered as black rectangular voids. One rectangular form in the lower part of the picture is lit bright white.
The city is given as mass and absence, all volume and empty openings, while everything above it is in motion. The single lit window is the only warm interior in the picture. Signed lower left in white script.

SERIES Filename groups this with the Heaven files. NouraAlqasiaHeaven2.JPG is a title plate reading HEAVEN ABOVE THE SKY OF GAZA, which is very likely the series this belongs to. Grouping rests on filename and that plate; worth confirming with the artist. MATERIAL ASSESSMENT Automated inspection called this an oil painting on the basis of apparent brushwork and layering. Treat that as unreliable. Every other work examined in this collection has read as digital, and automated medium identification has been wrong repeatedly here. Recorded as unconfirmed pending the artist's answer. SUBJECT NOTE The buildings are rendered as dark silhouettes with window openings as voids. Whether these depict a specific place should be recorded from the artist rather than inferred. Do not describe the architecture as generic or symbolic until she has been asked.
