Noura Alqasasia is a Palestinian painter, fashion designer and art educator, born in 1999 and now living and working in Gaza. Her family's roots lie in Zarnouqa, a village depopulated in 1948. She holds a diploma in Fashion Design from the University College of Applied Sciences in Gaza and is self taught as a painter.

Her practice spans painting, mixed media, drawing, sketchbooks, iPad and digital work, and immersive installation. A designer's attention to material runs through all of it: she works with sustainable materials in fashion and brings embroidery thread into her paintings, so that cloth, stitch and paint share one surface.

Her series include Heaven Above the Sky of Gaza, Heritage, Identity (هوية), Trauma, Plestia and Evacuation Diaries. Across them she keeps returning to the faces of the people around her, to birds, and to the sketchbook as a personal archive.

In 2025 her work was shown in The Phoenix (العنقاء), an exhibition of Gaza women artists, and a video she made documenting daily life in Gaza was screened at Spazio INTO in Milan. Her work also appears in Palestine Lives!, an online exhibition by Art for Palestine.

Alongside her own practice, Noura organizes art workshops for girls and displaced children, including Breathe and Draw (تنفس وارسم), which brings young women together to paint by the sea. "Drawing is my way to resist the occupation," she has said. "To prove we exist."
