Description
Two winged children float side by side, holding hands, their legs thrown outward in opposite directions. One has hair tied in two lengths and turns slightly left, the other has short dark hair and turns slightly right. Both are unclothed apart from reddish bands at the lower legs.
Their wings are the most saturated element in the picture, worked in iridescent blue, gold, green, and orange with the feathers individually drawn.
The ground behind them divides into two zones, muted olive green above and a reddish-orange brick or stone pattern below. Across much of the picture runs a diamond lattice in dark lines, the pattern of chain-link fencing.
The figures are shown mid-air and mid-motion, and the mesh is laid over them. Their wings are the only things in the picture at full colour, and they are seen through the fence like everything else. Signed lower left in gold script.

SERIES Filename groups this with the Heaven files. NouraAlqasiaHeaven2.JPG is a title plate reading HEAVEN ABOVE THE SKY OF GAZA, very likely the series this belongs to. Worth confirming with the artist. RECURRING MOTIF The chain-link lattice overlay also appears in NouraAlqasiaHeaven3.JPG, where it covers a flock of doves in flight. Two occurrences within the same series indicate a deliberate device. Its meaning should be recorded from the artist rather than interpreted here. The overlay must be preserved in any reproduction. It is not a defect, a watermark, or a scanning artefact, and must not be removed, retouched, or cleaned up by anyone processing these files. SUBJECT, DO NOT ASSUME A TRADITION Automated inspection described these figures as Renaissance putti and the work as an early twentieth century chromolithograph. Both readings should be disregarded. The artist is working now, and the European art-historical framing is imported rather than observed. The record describes only two winged children holding hands. What they represent should be recorded from the artist. MATERIAL ASSESSMENT Medium unresolved and recorded as unconfirmed. The chromolithograph reading is not credible. Automated medium identification has been wrong repeatedly across this collection. SIGNATURE Present at the lower left in gold cursive. Not transcribed here. Automated reading returned Neura or Newa Al Qassia, which is wrong. The typeset name on the series title plate reads Noura Al Qasasia.
