PROVISIONAL. Assessment from visual inspection of digital images only. No physical examination. Data gaps are expected on this collection and will be completed as information reaches the archive. TITLE SOURCE The title is taken from the source filename, which contains the Arabic word هوية, meaning identity, alongside the English word Identity. This is the artist's own filename rather than an inscription within the work, so it is good evidence but not conclusive. Worth confirming, along with the correct form of the title, whether Arabic, English, or both. TWO FILES, LIKELY ONE WORK Two source files appear to show the same artwork and are both held on this record: Main image: NouraAlqasiaهوية_Identity_.png, 3210 x 4160 px Gallery: NouraAlqasia14.JPG, 3210 x 4160 px Both show a woman with eyes closed in a black veil, wearing a coin headpiece, flanked by three red flowers on each side, against a pale ground. Identical dimensions. They are very likely the same work saved in two formats, with the PNG appearing to be the titled export. They have been kept together rather than given separate records, to avoid duplicating a single artwork in the archive. If they are in fact two distinct works, the gallery file should be split out into its own record. Requires confirmation. One difference worth noting: no signature was located in the PNG, while the JPG carries a cursive signature at the lower left. That is consistent with two exports of one work rather than two works, but it has not been verified. HEADPIECE, REQUIRES IDENTIFICATION The coin headdress should be identified by someone with the relevant expertise. Traditional coin headdresses carry specific regional and familial meaning, and given the title concerns identity, this element is likely central to the work rather than decorative. Do not describe it in general terms once it can be named properly. MATERIAL ASSESSMENT Unresolved and recorded as unconfirmed. Automated inspection suggested graphite with selective watercolour. Automated medium identification has been wrong repeatedly across this collection and should not be relied on. SELECTIVE COLOUR The greyscale figure against fully red flowers is deliberate and must be preserved in reproduction. No filters, conversions, or colour correction. SIGNATURE Not transcribed. The typeset name on the Heaven series title plate reads Noura Al Qasasia, which remains the most reliable rendering held in the archive.
