Description

Horses are distinguished by their unique beauty and elegant movements. I tried to combine horses with ancient buildings that describe Palestine, as well as an energy of light that suggests that freedom is on its way and that victory is inevitably coming

Preservation Notes

STATUS Physical work destroyed, no longer extant. Recorded 2026-09-18 on the instruction of Sky, PAPA: the artist's studio and home were destroyed in Israeli airstrikes and no physical work in this collection is known to survive. This record documents a work that no longer exists. SURVIVING RECORD One digital image, 1080 x 692 px, 37 KB JPEG. Pixel dimensions are moderate but the file size is unusually small for them, which suggests heavy compression. Expect visible artifacts at full magnification. DIGITAL PRESERVATION The image file is now the artifact, and this one is a compressed derivative rather than a master. Obtaining the artist's original camera file is the single most useful action for this record. Store an uncompressed master alongside the JPEG, record a checksum, and hold a copy outside the Content Lake. Do not re-compress the existing file. MATERIAL RECORD Cardboard, glue, and wood, 40 x 60 cm. The construction method, whether layered relief, cut-and-assembled, or mounted on a board, is not recorded. OUTSTANDING 1. Original camera file. The current capture appears heavily compressed. 2. Construction method and whether the surface was painted or left as raw material. 3. Year is recorded as 2020 and the medium matches Melody, also 2020. Confirm whether the two were made as a pair or a series.
