The bullets scattered across the injured person's body represent the marks of violence and destruction that cannot be easily healed, while the person embracing them seems to be trying to offer a small sense of safety amidst the chaos. In this contrast between affection and harsh reality, the struggle between life and death is embodied — a battle between the effort to endure pain and the wounds that cannot be undone.
