The ice cream trucks of death

At the backyard of the hospitals you wouldn’t help but notice ice-cream trucks parked next to the morgue , but why ?

It’s summer time , shouldn’t they be driving across town distributing ice-cream ?

it’s summer time,
The kids all over the world are just done with exams, celebrating summer vocation.
And what’s summer without kids begging their parents for pennies as they rush after the ice-cream truck as it jingles down the street .

And who doesn’t love ice-cream ?

Well,,,,
In G@z@, you won’t see a child chasing any of these trucks .
In facts , one might fear the day they would stand before them as they open up their containers.

As you know the death rate could go up to hundreds aday , and the hospitals morgue has the limited capacity of only 12 corpses .
No morgue on earth would be able to keep up with such high rate, specially with the corpses being left for days as they wait for someone to come identify them , if there is someone left to come .
And in such hot ،

, if left alone , these corpses would rot so fast , not only the smell would reek all over the place , it would attract stray animals .

So they resorted into repurposing ice-cream trucks as morgues , preserving dead bodies NOT ice-cream.

You’ll see the truck opening up either :
– if someone comes looking for a missing family member/s , in hopes they have been retrieved from under the rubble with a ( recognisable ) body .
– or during each morning , as they take out all corpses and spread them across the yard during what we call martyr parades , as many would reach the hospital in hopes of being able to identify them .

And if 2-3 days passes without being identified, after having their bodies displayed every morning for 2 hours on the dirty floor of the yard , they’ll be taken to a mass grave .

The identifiers would usually be sole surviving children .

So while you enjoy your vocation,
While you hear the ice-cream truck jingle,
While you watch kids go off chasing after it,
While you hear of the laughter and joy,
While you hear them shouting out their favourite flavours .
